Circular on Financial Soundness Indicators Forms for Licensed Exchange Companies
The Central Bank of Jordan requires licensed exchange companies to submit monthly statistical forms for Financial Soundness Indicators starting with data for December 2023. Submissions must be delivered by the tenth day of the following month in both Excel and PDF formats, signed by authorized signatories, and sent to the Financial Statistics Department. The forms must be completed in Jordanian Dinars, with foreign currency and precious metal balances valued according to International Financial Reporting Standards.

Circular to Licensed Exchange Companies Subject: Forms for the Instructions on Financial Soundness Indicators and Their Limits for Exchange Companies
Greetings,
With reference to the Instructions on Financial Soundness Indicators and Their Limits No. (2/9/19549) dated 2023/11/15 and its attached statistical forms for those instructions, we wish to emphasize the following:
- Provide us with the aforementioned forms on a monthly basis starting from the data for the month of (12/2023), no later than the tenth day of the month following the end of the period covered by that report.
- Provide us with the data in (Excel) and (pdf) formats - and they must be signed by the authorized signatories of the company - to the email address of the Financial Statistics Department (statistics@cbj.gov.jo). Note that the forms have been published in (Excel) format at the following link: (Official Website of the Central Bank > About the Bank > Services and Central Bank Forms Directory > Central Bank Forms Directory > Select Category (Forms for Instructions on Financial Soundness Indicators and their indicators)).
- Exercise utmost accuracy in all data prepared for the Central Bank and ensure that the data provided in the aforementioned forms matches the data in other related statistical forms, noting that exchange companies remain obligated to provide us with all periodic statistical forms previously circulated regarding this matter.
- Fill in the form data in Jordanian Dinars.
- Evaluate balances of assets and liabilities in foreign currencies and precious metals in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and in a manner consistent with the valuation of those assets and liabilities in other statistical reports.
