[All Licensed Financial Advisers, Exempt Financial Advisers, Holders of Capital Markets Services Licence, Exempt Capital Markets Services Entities, Registered Insurance Brokers, Exempt Insurance Brokers and Licensed Direct Insurers] Dear Sir/Madam MISCONDUCT REPORT AND INVESTIGATION REPORT TEMPLATES (“TEMPLATES”) The Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) has today published the Templates to support financial institutions’ (“FIs”) preparations for the implementation of the new misconduct reporting requirements under the Financial Advisers Act 2001, Insurance Act 1966 and Securities and Futures Act 2001, which will come into effect on 1 January 2027 1 . 2 The Templates set out the information that FIs will provide when completing the misconduct report and investigation report webforms in the new misconduct reporting system (“MRS”). FIs should review the Templates and take the necessary steps to ensure operational readiness for the submission of reports through the new MRS from 1 January 2027. 3 The Templates are available on the MAS website at this link. 4 Please contact your MAS Review Officer if you require any clarification.
