The Central Bank of Jordan instructs banks operating in the Kingdom to notify the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Unit of crimes such as forgery, embezzlement, theft, or fraud only if they result in financial proceeds subject to money laundering or terrorist financing. This directive modifies previous reporting requirements by excluding cases where no such financial proceeds exist. Banks must ensure strict compliance with this instruction and other relevant circulars issued by the Central Bank of Jordan.
