Circular on Submission of 2022 Financial Statements by Licensed Exchange Companies
The Central Bank of Jordan requires licensed exchange companies to submit their 2022 financial statements, certified by a licensed auditor and prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, by the end of March 2023. The submission must include detailed clarifications on related-party transactions, lawsuits, asset restrictions, and operational results, along with specific attachments detailing remittance volumes, revenue, and top five markets. Companies must also provide their auditor's contract and an evaluation of compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing laws, or face penalties under Article 26 of the Exchange Business Law No. 44 of 2015.
