The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic amends the regulations for savings accounts designated for adolescent minors, permitting debit transactions for investment operations authorized by the National Securities Commission, including subscriptions to Money Market Common Investment Funds. The amendments also expand the permitted currencies for these accounts to match those allowed for standard savings accounts and clarify that the deposit limit of three times the Minimum, Vital, and Mobile Salary applies per account and currency. Additionally, the maintenance of both adolescent savings accounts and universal free accounts may rely on Simplified Due Diligence measures for low-risk clients to promote financial inclusion, eliminating the requirement for a sworn declaration regarding the number of accounts held.
