The Central Bank of the Republic of Argentina amended Annex 1 of Communication A 467, effective August 1994, to cap total credit operations at 300% of clients' computable equity. It limits equity participation in non-financial service companies to 12.5% of the entity's computable equity, while maintaining a 300% maximum financial support threshold. Financial institutions must analyze borrowers' cash flows against third-party obligations to assess repayment capacity and require adequate guarantees.
