Rule · FSCA · 31 Mar 2018
Every self-administered pension fund must revise its fidelity guarantee insurance cover in consultation with its auditor, since the previously advised cover of 5% of total assets capped at R100,000 may be inadequate. Funds must furnish this Office as soon as possible with an auditor's statement on whether the cover is adequate, and submit such a statement annually with the fund's annual financial statements. The auditor must also sign the attached acknowledgement form.
