Circular-PI-MA-2-1-10-2012 – Approval of Benefit and Contribution Changes
Medical Aid Funds must submit proposed benefit and contribution changes by October 31, 2012, to allow the Registrar to review and approve them before implementation on January 1, 2013. Funds are required to apply for approval prior to implementing any rule, benefit, or contribution changes. Implementation without the Registrar's approval constitutes a contravention of Section 31 of the Medical Aid Funds Act (Act No. 23 of 1995).
