Circular-PI-MA-3-2009 – Levies
Registered medical aid funds must pay a basic levy of N$2000.00 and an additional levy of N$12 per principal member, payable in two equal instalments due on 30 September and 31 March, with final payment deadlines of 31 October and 30 April respectively. Late payments incur interest at the prevailing prime overdraft rate of the First National Bank of Namibia. Failure to meet these obligations constitutes a direct breach of Government Notice No. 78 of April 2003.
