Circular REFEX 1-25: Informative Regime of Exchange Operations and Obligations with Abroad

From 2 September 1985, financial institutions, exchange houses, agencies and offices authorized to operate in foreign exchange, and exchange brokers must comply with the informative regime for exchange operations. The first paragraph of point 6.1 of Circular REFEX 1-7 is replaced: all forms must be delivered to the Department of General Secretariat by 18:00 on the day of execution. Exchange houses and agencies outside the Federal Capital and Greater Buenos Aires must prepare forms 4001 and 4002 daily, group them monthly into form 4033, and ensure the Bank receives it within five business days after the monthly period closes.
