The Central Bank of Jordan requires licensed banks to produce explanatory leaflets detailing the nature, uses, and differences between credit and debit cards, and to adopt transparency principles regarding the pricing of commissions and fees charged on these cards. Additionally, banks must create customer leaflets encouraging caution when using electronic payment methods.
