The Central Bank of Jordan establishes a graduated monetary fine schedule for banks receiving multiple warnings within a single year for violations not carrying specific statutory fines. The fines escalate based on the number of warnings: no fine for the first warning, 20,000 JOD for the second, 50,000 JOD for the third, and 100,000 JOD for the fourth warning. Each fine is imposed in addition to the warning itself, and the warning period for calculating fines expires after one year from the date of imposition. This framework applies to all banks operating in the Kingdom effective immediately.
