Based on the provisions of Article (28) of the Banks Law No. (28) of 2000, and following our letter No. (21/6239) dated 29/1/1990, we emphasize the necessity of not appointing any employee/user of any nationality other than Jordanian without obtaining prior approval from the Central Bank of Jordan and other relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and instructions. Note that "non-Jordanian" includes anyone who does not hold a national number.
In this regard, please provide the Central Bank with a list - according to the attached form - of the names of non-Jordanian employees on the payroll, within one week from its date.
