Banks operating in Jordan are required to execute new agreements with the Civil Status and Passports Department that authorize inquiries via name, national ID number, personal card information, and photo. The financial terms for these agreements are set at 5,000 Jordanian Dinars for up to five users, and 400 Jordanian Dinars per user for six or more users. This requirement ensures compliance with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Instruction No. (51/2010).
