Banks operating in the Kingdom are required to sign new agreements with the Civil Status and Passports Department that include the authority to query by name in addition to the national ID number, as well as to view personal card information and images. Banks must execute these new agreements immediately rather than waiting for existing agreements to expire. This requirement applies to all banks currently operating within the Kingdom.
