Circular to Banks Operating in the Kingdom

Greetings,

Subsequent to our circular No. (10556/4/2/10) dated 2015/8/25 (attached) regarding some banks issuing checkbooks to certain of their clients despite their inclusion in the returned checks unit list, as these banks conduct inquiries using the document number without inquiring via the name, particularly for non-resident clients, and as it was also observed that some banks do not conduct inquiries accurately via the Central Bank screen before issuing checkbooks, resulting in inaccurate inquiry results that do not match the Central Bank's database.

Therefore, the "Customer Center User Guide" (attached) has been prepared to clarify how to correctly inquire about clients via the Central Bank inquiry screen to obtain results that match our database.
