The Central Bank of Jordan mandates that licensed banks cease providing mobile phone top-up services through their own electronic channels and restrict these services exclusively to the central E-Fawateercom system. This directive supersedes and cancels any prior orders regarding this service. The requirement applies to all licensed banks.

Circular to all licensed banks
Greetings,
Following our circular No. (2 / 10 / 2842) dated 6 / 3 / 2011 regarding the mobile phone card top-up service, and in the context of the launch by the Central Bank of Jordan of the electronic invoice display and collection system "E-Fawateercom" as a central system providing invoice display and other electronic payments and collections, we emphasize the necessity to stop providing the aforementioned service through the electronic services provided by the Bank and to restrict its provision through the "E-Fawateercom" system. It should be noted that this circular cancels any previous orders regarding this matter.
Please accept our highest respect,
The Governor
