Rule · BCRA · 30 May 2019 · A 6706
Financial institutions must, from 1.6.19, apply reduced minimum cash rates in pesos where the operating office's locality is in categories II to VI: demand placements drop 2 percentage points and term placements 1 percentage point, to a minimum of zero; remotely arranged term deposits in pesos get the same treatment. Group "A" institutions and branches or subsidiaries of G-SIBs not in that group may integrate the peso requirement with LELIQ and/or NOBAC up to 13 and 10 percentage points of specified rates. This replaces points 1.3.7.1., 1.3.13., 1.3.15. and subsections a) and b) of point 1.3.14. of the "Minimum cash" rules.
