New bank branches authorized in the Province of Buenos Aires are exempt from the remote alarm obligation until the local Police resolves compliance issues with Provincial Law No. 9858. This exemption extends to all branches authorized this year that have requested but not yet obtained police authorization to connect alarms. Exempt branches must install external alarms and other supplementary measures required by the local Police to compensate for the lack of a remote alarm. Entities must coordinate with the Provincial Arms Registry (REPAR) for these measures and report completion to the issuing Institution.
