This communication from the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic updates the regulations for the Rejected Checks Center and the Financial System Debtors Center, following the dissolution of AFIP and creation of ARCA by Decree 953/24. It establishes that financial entities, fiduciaries, non-financial credit providers, and other specified entities will submit and access monthly information on rejected checks and debtors via a secure BCRA website. A new mechanism is introduced, effective December 3, 2024, allowing the general public to access this information through ARCA's tax key, subject to a sworn declaration regarding the Personal Data Protection Law. The document details the specific data fields for rejected checks and clarifies which debtors are excluded or identified as under review or in legal process.
