Circular to Credit Institutions including Foreign Branches – Update on the Mandatory Adoption of XBRL-CSV Format for Supervisory Reporting
The Authority invites credit institutions and foreign branches to participate in a testing exercise for the mandatory adoption of the XBRL-CSV format for supervisory reporting submissions from 2 February until 13 February 2026. Participants must submit test files via the LH Portal testing environment using the ITS version 4.2 framework and return a completed User Acceptance Testing form to Bankingdata@mfsa.mt. The mandatory implementation of this format applies to reporting institutions for the March 2026 reference date onwards.
