Circular to Credit Institutions on Amendment to Banking Rule BR/23
Banking Rule BR/23 is revised to align its proportionality measures with EBA Guidelines EBA/GL/2020/07. Paragraph 21(a) is amended to allow the Authority to grant individual reporting waivers to stand-alone institutions that do not report on a consolidated basis. The Authority retains sole discretion to grant waivers, which are communicated bilaterally, and the amendment does not automatically result in the application of any waivers.
