Circular to Licensed Exchange Companies Subject: Exercising Exact Accuracy in Preparing Monthly Statistical Statements Submitted to the Central Bank of Jordan

Greetings,

In accordance with the provisions of Article (22/A) of the Currency Exchange Operations Law No. (44) of 2015 regarding the provision of periodic information and data requested by the Central Bank in accordance with the provisions of this Law and the regulations and instructions issued pursuant thereto, and following our previous circulars on this matter, and given the observation of repeated subsequent amendments to those statements, we emphasize the necessity of exercising exact accuracy in all data prepared for the purposes of the Central Bank and verifying that they match the entries in your records and are consistent with the provisions of prevailing legislation. This is under the threat of taking legal measures stipulated in the provisions of the Currency Exchange Operations Law, including the activation of the provisions of Article (26/E) of the Currency Exchange Operations Law No. (44) of 2015.
