The Malta Financial Services Authority replaces the Personal Questionnaire Form used for due diligence assessments of qualifying shareholders, management bodies, and key function holders, introducing new information requirements and a checklist for supplementary documentation. Concurrently, the Authority removes the 21-day time limit for the approval of directors, senior managers, compliance officers, and money laundering reporting officers across specified Banking, Financial Institutions, Insurance, Pension, and Investment Services Rules. These amendments to the Rules and the new form become effective on 1 December 2015.
