The Malta Financial Services Authority issued a circular announcing the immediate effectiveness of a revised Rulebook for Virtual Financial Asset Agents. This revision introduces new reporting obligations under Sub-section 9 of Section 2 of Title 3, requiring agents to submit an Annual Return by 30 September 2020. The amendment to the Rulebook consists of the addition of Sub-section 9 of Section 2 of Title 3, which outlines the reporting obligations for VFA Agents. The Annual Return, which VFA Agents will be required to submit by 30 September 2020, may be downloaded from the MFSA website. All changes to the Rulebook shall be effective immediately.
