CMN Resolution No. 4,934 — Adjusts the rule applicable to the classification of rural credit operations under the Agricultural Activity Guarantee Program

CMN RESOLUTION NO. 4,934, OF JULY 29, 2021

Adjusts the rule applicable to the classification of rural credit operations under the Agricultural Activity Guarantee Program.

The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in a session held on July 29, 2021, considering the provisions of Article 4, item VI, of the aforementioned Law, Articles 4, 5, and 14 of Law No. 4,829, of November 5, 1965, Articles 59, 65-A, and 66-A of Law No. 8,171, of January 17, 1991, and Article 4 of Decree No. 175, of July 10, 1991,

RESOLVES:

Article 1. Section 2 (Classification) of Chapter 12 (Agricultural Activity Guarantee Program - Proagro) of the Rural Credit Manual shall be amended as follows:

“4 - Agricultural working capital enterprises with financing up to R$335,000.00 (three hundred and thirty-five thousand reais), whose crops are included in Zarc, financed with participation of controlled resources, must be fully classified under Proagro, observing the conditions established in items 17 and 18.” (NR)

Article 2. This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
