CMN Resolution No. 4929 — Adjusts norms of Section 2 (Beneficiaries) of Chapter 1 (Preliminary Provisions) and Section 1 (General Provisions) of Chapter 10 (National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture - Pronaf) of the Rural Credit Manual (MCR)

CMN RESOLUTION NO. 4,929, OF JULY 29, 2021

Adjusts norms of Section 2 (Beneficiaries) of
Chapter 1 (Preliminary Provisions) and Section 1 (General Provisions) of
Chapter 10 (National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture - Pronaf)
of the Manual of Rural Credit (MCR).

The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Art. 9 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in a session held on July 29, 2021, in accordance with Arts. 4, item VI, of Law No. 4,595, of 1964, 4 and 14 of Law No. 4,829, of November 5, 1965, and 3, § 3, of Law No. 11,326, of July 24, 2006,

R E S O L V E D:

Art. 1 The Section 2 (Beneficiaries) of Chapter 1 (Preliminary Provisions) of the Manual of Rural Credit (MCR) shall enter into force with the following changes:

“3 -

a) small producer: up to R$500,000.00 (five hundred thousand reais);

b) medium producer: above R$500,000.00 (five hundred thousand reais) up to R$2,400,000.00 (two million and four hundred thousand reais); and

c) large producer: above R$2,400,000.00 (two million and four hundred thousand reais).”

Art. 2 The Section 1 (General Provisions) of Chapter 10 (National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture - Pronaf) of the MCR shall enter into force with the following change:

I - of financed value, per beneficiary in each agricultural year, up to R$200,000.00 (two hundred thousand reais), when it comes to a self-propelled harvester, and of R$96,000.00 (ninety-six thousand reais) for other cases, observed the provisions of item II of this subsection; and

Art. 3 This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
