CMN Resolution No. 5,161 — Adjusts rules regarding basic additional rates for Proagro program classification

CMN RESOLUTION NO. 5,161, OF JULY 24, 2024

Adjusts rules regarding the basic additional rates for classifying an enterprise in the Agricultural Activity Guarantee Program – Proagro.

The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in a session held on July 23, 2024, considering the provisions of Articles 59, 65-A, and 66-A of Law No. 8,171, of January 17, 1991, and Article 4 of Decree No. 175, of July 10, 1991,

RESOLVES:

Art. 1 Section 10 (Basic additional rates for classifying an enterprise in Proagro and Proagro Mais) of Chapter 12 (Agricultural Activity Guarantee Program – Proagro) of the Rural Credit Manual – MCR shall enter into force with the following alterations:

V - Other Winter: oats, canola, barley, triticale, alfalfa, rye, flax, and ryegrass;

VI - Other Summer: sorghum, peanut, sesame, and buckwheat; and

VII - Other: products without their own rate and not covered by the groups referred to in items I to VI.
