CMN Resolution No. 5085 amends the Rural Credit Manual (MCR) to prohibit the classification of agricultural enterprises in the Proagro program if the beneficiary's CPF or Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) is linked to a specific number of loss communications within the five agricultural years preceding the classification request. The threshold for these recurrent loss reports decreases from seven to five communications depending on the effective period, with the rule applying to loss communications made from July 3, 2018, July 1, 2019, or July 1, 2020, respectively. The prohibition applies for the entire agricultural year following the occurrence of the disqualifying loss history. This resolution entered into force on July 3, 2023.
