Rule · BCB · 24 Aug 2023 · Resolução CMN 5102
Financial institutions must reduce interest rates by at least 0.5 percentage points for operations from October 2, 2023, if the property is CAR-registered. They must verify socio-environmental compliance, maintain CAR data, and ensure Pronaf financing purchases raw materials at PGPM or reference prices. For Proagro, institutions must apply specific Zarc rates for irrigated crops and waive rain-fed planting periods per Ater instructions. This amends the Rural Credit Manual, effective October 2, 2023, for item 6-A and upon publication for other provisions.
