2025-09-25 | Resolução CMN 5251Added
CMN Resolution No. 5,251 amends Resolution No. 4,790 to mandate that debit authorizations in deposit and salary accounts, where the final recipient is a legal entity or an unauthorized entity, must exclusively follow the specific regulations governing Pix Automático. This requirement does not apply when the depository institution is also the recipient of the funds, in which case the original Resolution's rules remain in effect. Depository and recipient institutions must adapt existing contracts and authorizations to comply with these provisions by January 1, 2026. The Resolution enters into force on October 13, 2025.
