Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1857 amending trade repository registration standards
The European Commission amends Delegated Regulation (EU) No 150/2013 to update the regulatory technical standards for trade repository registration applications. The changes require applicants to detail procedures for data verification, reconciliation, and portability, while introducing a simplified application process for extending existing registrations under Regulation (EU) 2015/2365. Additionally, the regulation mandates the inclusion of proof of fee payments and a signed attestation of accuracy by senior management in all applications. These provisions enter into force on the twentieth day following publication, with the amended Article 1(1) applying from 29 April 2024.
