Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/960 amending tick size calculation application dates
The European Commission amends Article 3(4) of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/588 to change the effective date for tick size calculations. Trading venues must now apply the published tick sizes from the first Monday of April each year, rather than from 1 April. This adjustment allows market participants additional time to update their IT systems and infrastructure over the weekend.
