Communication No. 020: Payment to CAME Savers Begins
The National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) initiates the payment process to 169,564 savers of the Popular Financial Society CAME, S.A. de C.V., S.F.P., following the revocation of its authorization on September 19, 2025. The payments are funded by the Fund for the Protection of Popular Financial Societies and their Savers (PROSOFIPO) without using public treasury funds, covering up to 25,000 UDIS (approximately 219,000 pesos) per person, which accounts for 99.5% of CAME savers. Savers can submit claims via the electronic platform www.fondodeproteccion.mx or designated service centers, with specific contact lines and websites provided for assistance.
