Compliance with Section 75(4) of the Financial Institutions Act, 2008: Quarterly Shareholding Report

The Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago reminds all banks and non-banks to submit Quarterly Shareholding Reports within 20 working days after each quarter end. Licensees and financial holding companies must disclose beneficial and nominee shareholders holding five percent or more of issued share capital, as well as any voting agreements. Institutions must explicitly state if no such agreements exist to ensure complete compliance with Section 75(4) of the Financial Institutions Act, 2008.
