Consultation Paper No. 13: ADGM Courts Rules – Supplementary Rules
The Chief Justice of the Abu Dhabi Global Market Courts issued this consultation paper to invite public comment on draft rules governing judicial conduct, complaints against judicial officers, and offers to settle in civil and commercial proceedings. These proposed rules are closely based on UK judicial conduct regulations and establish procedures for investigating misconduct and determining settlement offers where judgments are at least as advantageous as prior offers. The deadline for submitting written comments is 26 November 2015, after which the Chief Justice will consider modifications before enacting the final rules.
