Consumer Credit Bill (CCB) Status Update
The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority has submitted the final draft of the Consumer Credit Bill to the Minister of Finance following a nationwide public consultation. The legislation requires all credit providers, bureaus, and debt collectors to register and meet defined market conduct standards to ensure consumer protection and responsible lending.
