The Financial Conduct Authority proposes changes to its Handbook to align with the EU Securitisation Regulation and the Capital Requirements Regulation Amendment, which enter into force on 18 January 2018 and apply from 1 January 2019. The proposals include new application fees of £1,500 and annual periodic fees of £250 for Third Party Verification Agents, alongside amendments to the FUND, COLL, and IFPRU sourcebooks to reflect new obligations for Alternative Investment Fund Managers, UCITS fund managers, and investment firms. These changes are subject to consultation until 1 October 2018, with final rules planned for publication in December.
