CP22/5: Proposed changes to allow companies to use a more up to date electronic format for their annual financial reports
The document proposes amending Article 2(4B) of the TD ESEF Regulation to replace references to UKSEF 2022 taxonomy v1.0.0 with v2.0.0 for annual financial reports filed on or after 3 May 2022. Filings using the previous version will no longer be accepted in the National Storage Mechanism after Friday, 29 April 2022. The proposal also plans to add the ESEF 2021 taxonomy as a permitted option, subject to FCA Board approval and formal EU adoption.
