CP24/16: The Value for Money Framework

The Financial Conduct Authority proposes a new value for money framework for default arrangements in workplace defined contribution pension schemes, requiring consistent measurement and public disclosure of investment performance, costs, and service quality. The framework mandates that Independent Governance Committees assess these arrangements against market peers and assign a Red, Amber, or Green rating, with firms required to take specified actions for arrangements rated Amber or Red. This consultation seeks feedback on the proposed scope, metrics, assessment processes, and disclosure requirements by 17 October 2024.
