CSSF Circular 21/783: Application of ESMA Guidelines on MiFID II/MiFIR Market Data Obligations

The CSSF integrates ESMA Guidelines on MiFID II/MiFIR market data obligations into its administrative practice and regulatory approach to promote supervisory convergence. Regulated markets, market operators, credit institutions, investment firms, APAs, and SIs must comply with these guidelines regarding the provision of market data on a reasonable commercial basis and the free provision of delayed data. The circular specifies that these obligations apply to market data made public for pre-trade and post-trade transparency regimes and become effective on 1 January 2022.
