CSSF Circular 22/796: Application of ESMA Guidelines on Methodology, Oversight, and Record Keeping under the Benchmarks Regulation
The CSSF integrates ESMA Guidelines on methodology, oversight function, and record keeping under the Benchmarks Regulation into its administrative practice and regulatory approach. Benchmark Administrators must comply with these guidelines, which apply to critical and significant benchmarks regarding methodology in exceptional circumstances, material changes, oversight functions, and record-keeping, as well as amending guidelines for non-significant benchmarks. The circular becomes effective on 31 May 2022.
