CSSF Circular 23/835: Application of ESMA Guidelines on MiFID II Suitability Requirements
The CSSF will apply the ESMA Guidelines on MiFID II suitability requirements from 3 October 2023 onwards, integrating them into its administrative practice and regulatory approach. This circular affects investment firms, credit institutions, UCITS management companies, and external alternative investment fund managers when providing investment advice, portfolio management, or selling structured deposits. The previous ESMA guidelines on this topic will cease to apply on the same date.
