CSSF Circular 23/838 on EBA Guidelines for Remuneration Benchmarking and Gender Pay Gap
The CSSF integrates the EBA Guidelines on benchmarking exercises regarding remuneration practices and the gender pay gap into its administrative practice, requiring all non-SNI IFR investment firms to comply. These firms must submit remuneration data annually by 15 June and gender pay gap data every three years starting in 2024 for the financial year 2023. The circular specifies that gender pay gap data is collected at the individual level, while remuneration data is collected individually unless Article 7 of Regulation (EU) 2019/2033 applies, in which case it is collected at the consolidation level. This circular applies as from the date of its publication.
