CSSF Regulation No 24-02 on Auditing Standards, Professional Ethics, and Quality Management
This regulation mandates the adoption of the 2022 Edition International Standards on Auditing, the 2022 Edition International Standards on Quality Management, and the 2023 Edition IESBA Code of Ethics for statutory audits and approved audit firms in Luxembourg, including specific Luxembourg supplements. It repeals CSSF Regulation No 22-01 and establishes mandatory requirements such as closing audit files within 60 days of the report signature and submitting additional reports to audit committees for public-interest entities. The regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Journal officiel du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg.
