Regulations amending Finansinspektionen’s regulations on operational risk management (FFFS 2023:4)
Finansinspektionen amended its regulations and general guidelines (FFFS 2014:4) regarding the management of operational risks to update the scope of applicable entities. The revised Chapter 1, Section 2 explicitly lists banking companies, savings banks, credit market entities, securities companies, and clearing undertakings as subject to these rules. For clearing undertakings, the regulations apply exclusively to their organization, processes, and personnel managing IT systems, with the changes entering into force on 8 March 2023.
