Pursuant to Articles 25 paragraphs 1 and 3 and 47 paragraph 1 item 20 of the Law on the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 158/10, 123/12, 43/14, 153/15, 6/16 and 83/18), the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia Council adopted the following DECISION ON AMENDING THE DECISION ON ISSUING BANKNOTES IN DENOMINATION OF 500 DENARS WITH MODIFIED FEATURES (Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia No. 88/2020)

  1. In the Decision on issuing banknotes in denomination of 500 denars with modified
    features (Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia No. 50/19) in item 2, a new paragraph 2 shall be added that reads as follows:
    “The main features of banknotes in denomination of 500 denars described in item 2 d) of the Decision on issuing denomination structure and main features of banknotes (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 45/96) and item 2 of the Decision on issuing and printing banknotes in denominations of 500 and 1000 denars with modified features (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 46/03), shall be modified in:
  • paragraphs 1 and 2, the number "4" shall be replaced by the number "3.9”.
  • paragraph 2, the text: “Flower - opium poppy - Macedonia” shall be replaced by the text:
    “Flower - opium poppy - North Macedonia”.
  1. This Decision shall enter into force on the eighth day from the day of its publication in
    the Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia.
