Decision on Core Elements of the Payment Orders for Executing National Payment Transactions through Transaction Accounts
This Decision prescribes the mandatory core elements, format, and execution procedures for written payment orders used in national payment transactions through transaction accounts. It specifies that payment service providers, including banks, credit institution branches, and the Central Bank of Montenegro, must accept orders containing these elements and decline those that do not. The regulation defines distinct requirements for payer-initiated and payee-initiated orders, including specific data fields, character limits, and color-coded printing standards for different transaction types. It also repeals the previous Decision on the minimum elements of credit and debit orders and enters into force upon publication in the Official Gazette of Montenegro.
