Decision on Issuance, Basic Features, and Circulation of Additional Convertible Mark Banknotes in Denominations of 50 KM and 100 KM

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issues and puts into circulation additional quantities of convertible mark banknotes in denominations of 50 KM and 100 KM, featuring designs from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republika Srpska. These banknotes must bear the printing year 2002 below the Governor's signature and contain a 1.00 mm wide standard simple metallized security thread made of 100% cotton that is non-fluorescent and lacks the CBBiH mark. Circulation begins on April 1, 2002, through the Central Bank's main units and branches, with specific security characteristics communicated to commercial banks by the Governor.
