Decision on Putting into Circulation of Banknotes in Denomination of 1000 Denars

Pursuant to Articles 25 and 47 paragraph 1 item 20 of the Law on the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia” No. 158/10, 123/12, 43/14, 153/15 and 6/16), the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia Council adopted the following DECISION ON PUTTING INTO CIRCULATION OF BANKNOTES IN DENOMINATION OF 1000 DENARS

1. This Decision shall put into circulation banknotes in denomination of 1000 Denars
   bearing the printing sign "DECEMBER 2016" and with features determined in the Decision on the issue, denominations and main features of coins of banknotes ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia" No. 45/96) and the Decision on issuing and printing banknotes in denominations of Denar 500 and Denar 1000 with modified features (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia” No. 46/03), starting from 15 January 2017.
2. By putting into circulation the banknotes of item 1 of this Decision in the cash
   payment operations of the Republic of Macedonia, also the banknotes in denomination of 1000 Denars shall be valid issued according to the Decision on the issue, denomination and the main features of coins and banknotes ( "Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia" no. 45/96) and the Decision on issuing and printing banknotes in denominations of Denar 500 and Denar 1000 with modified features (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia No. 46/03).
3. This Decision shall enter into force on the eighth day from the day of its
   publication in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia”.
